My Interview at LGG

The Lost Genre Guild is a group for writers whose main genre is speculative fiction that holds a Christian world view. I joined recently, after getting some short stories published. I'm really excited about being a part of the group.

Their blog has been featuring members lately, and guess what? Today, they posted MY interview :).

So check it out at THE LOST GENRE GUILD.

Hey Kat,
I read your interview. We totally have the same interest (creation/evolution debate). However, I DON'T have a degree in biology, nor have I read as widely as you. Mostly I've listened to debates online. Over at reasonablefaith.org

Apologetics seems to be something we both enjoy...giving a REASON for why we believe!

I'll have to check out that site. I've gotten a lot of great info from answersingenesis.org. I'm dying to visit their Creation Museum! They've got some great kids' stuff, too, btw ;)--DVD's and books that present subjects like dinosaurs from a Creationist view.

A great book I'd recommend for a layman is John Morris's "The Young Earth." It gives a lot of evidence, all presented scientifically and objectively, but points out how it all fits into the Biblical history of the world.

Oh, boy--I better stop now. I tend to get on a roll when I start on this topic and I'm hard to shut up!

Hey Kat,

I'd definitely like to pick your brain a bit on the young earth argument.
I've studied mostly under the old-earth camp (like Strobel), but I certainly haven't come to any conclusions on the age of the earth.

I imagine you are bursting with good info--especially with the comprehension you have with a science background!
